Well the world didn't end, so I guess that's good? Yesterday I got to skip school to go Christmas shopping, and I realized how much it sucks to be a hockey fan this year. Hockey is not really HUGE here in the DFW area, but it is at an all time low thanks to the lockout. Me and my dad being hockey fans, they had close to nothing at most stores we went to hockey-wise. I can't wait for this lockout to end, I just can't. Also, my school district is having an Allen Americans night where anyone can go to the game, and the tickets are super cheap, so my mom already got some tickets last night, can't wait for the game on December 29th (next Saturday). Anyway, today I'm posting my first concept of the all new TGHC NHL Redesign to celebrate the new look/name of the site! So today I bring you the redesigned Blackhawks!

NHL Redesign - Chicago Blackhawks
Changes:
- New (old) sleeve stripes on the home jersey
- Logos on helmets are facing the front instead of the back
So yeah, I'll be adding to this (hopefully) every day at least for the rest of winter break (until January 7th). I'll probably do the more simple teams first. Expect a concept every day other then Christmas or when I'm feeling lazy. Also, the DFW area is expecting SNOW (what's that?) on Christmas Day!

Good Blackhawks concept. Not very different than their current set, but they're a team that really shouldn't change their look too much.
ReplyDeleteI also like the new look and name. The only thing is that it's a bit too wide on my screen. I have to scroll sideways too see the right side-bar.
