Sunday: Week of August 12-18

Sorry I haven't been able to put up a post in awhile, I've just had other things to do. I will try to become more active with this blog, but it will become even MORE difficult at the end of the month, because school starts August 27th for me and I will have to do school stuff (like homework, etc.) so I won't have as much time to make concepts and post on this blog. Pretty much, my only chance will be weekends. Let's get to the concepts that I have made recently!

Also, I STILL haven't updated my jersey collection, and I will be changing the site soon, to make it look more cleaner/fresher.

Columbus Blue Jackets Concept (Myself - Tyler)

I like the current CBJ uniforms, so I still wanted to keep them the same for the most part. But the socks have those stripes, that have nothing to do with the jersey. So, I wanted to take those stripes and somehow incorporate them with the jersey. This was my idea of doing so. Everything else pretty much stayed the same. Also, I finished this concept RIGHT before Nash was traded to NYR, so don't pick on me for it *wink*.

Buffalo Sabres Concepts (Myself - Tyler)

Wow! These were loved by HJC, which is what I hoped for when I made them. These ended up being my FIRST EVER COTW NOM on HJC! I wanted to take that Sabres alternate jersey, which I LOVED!, and still mix some of the current jerseys in, hence the yokes, and stripes. Vote for this on the COTW vote starting tomorrow (monday), on HJC!

Toronto Maple Leafs Concept (Myself - Tyler)

This was my Leafs WC concept I made after I read that they may be wearing these. I don't have much to say about it, but, I like it. I think what I should have done is make the numbers plain white, instead of the white/black outline like they ACTUALLY had back in the 30's. I think they may be a little harder to see. This should be on HJC in a few days, hopefully this week, sometime.

Chicago Blackhawks Concepts (Myself - Tyler)

These concepts are based off of the Hawks 1959-1961 uniforms, in which they won the Stanley Cup. I am hoping that these would bring ANOTHER cup back to Chi-Town. These were also sent into HJC, and will probably be on there sometime next week. These are, as said, meant to be ONLY worn on Sunday Afternoons, as alternates.

Quebec Nordiques Concepts (Myself - Tyler)

I recently have been checking out Justin Cox's blog, Art of Hockey, lately and I found that Justin is having a NHL Expansion competition. Check it out and submit your own entries too! But hurry, it ends the 15th! This is my entry for the Quebec contest. I used the old Quebec uniform but added typical Reebok stuff like yokes, hem stripes, and arm stripes. I also used a script logo on the front, similar to Justin's Nordiques concept. I really like this one and I hope it wins!
